I am a USPS mail carrier and I come across a lot of spiders in the mailboxes but I’ve never seen one that looked like this before.

You can’t. It’s okay to post another photo separately, just make a note of if it is the same spider. Thank you for being a spider-tolerant mail carrier! This is a fairly small shamrock orbweaver, Araneus trifolium.
