Thanks for sharing the photo of a green lynx with prey. Green lynx spiders are ambush hunters. They need to surprise the prey, grab it, kill it, wait for digestive fluids to work and have it eaten more quickly than a web spider. Web spiders can let the web tire the prey and restrain the prey from leaving The web spider can wrap several insects and come back to them to eat. Spiders like yours have to use more strength and speed.
