Pretty sure that is a Wolf spider, along with a thousand or so babies on her back.. some of the more fascinating encounters I’ve had with arachnids in Nevada, were from coming across these ladies and their babies.. Also the stuff nightmares are made of to those afraid of insects.. lol
Hi. yes,a female wolf spider, Lyosidae family, with her brood.I would guess about 150 spiderlings.
For the light tan color, could be Hoogna carolinensis, the largest of wolf spiders.(guess).
