Neither. A solifugid.

Poor guy, these are sun spiders, not true spiders, order Solifugae. They are harmless, no venom or poison.
A bit fast, maybe combative if cornered. Used to be all over Vegas valley, hardly find any now.
Ermobates species the most common in the west. Officially called wind scorpions, other moniker, camel spider.
Their worst is a good hefty pinch grabbed in the hand.

Saw a good size one strolling down south strip scaring the daylights out of the tourist, LOL.
