This spider was huge and the vehicle headlight caught notice of it on the side of a brick apartment building in Morgantown, WV.

Hi, she’s a gravid Neoscona crucifera. The female orbweavers are much larger than the males developmentally. Their abdomens also stretch quite a bit as their eggs develop. It will shrink down to a more normal size once she’s deposited her eggs into egg sacks.
