It was inside an egg sac and i came across 2 under a few rocks near the canyons and they are very pretty and interesting and about 2 inches they were underneath rocks inside an eggsac and they have almost a redish back to me it looks almost like a mini tarantula but im sure its an adult

One of the Jumping spiders in the genus Phidippus. They are not medically significant. Many people keep them as pets. They make a resting sac to sleep in if they don’t have egg sacs.
Phidippus cf. adumbratus.
