This “guy” has been living in a corner of my deck railing for most of the summer, catching moths I put lights on for. Last night was the first time it came out so I could photograph it. Don’t have my spider book with me, or I might be closer to an ID.
Did a little more research and came up with Araneus marmoreus. Only seen the colorful form once and this one never.
