Comments & ID Thoughts
Hi,
This is a bit of a different inquiry.
I work as a Buyer for a Handbag Company. We have recently came across a very rare Prada, Damien Hirst Collaboration bag.
The bag is made with a real insect inside (see image attached) Each bag has a different insects and arachnid and the bag is named after the type of spider.
Could you please identify this spider?
I look forward to hearing from you.
P.S It was not photographed in United State

golden silk orb web weaver spider
I googled it, the spider was Nephila pilipes (spelled incorrectly in most of the articles I read). I couldn’t find the bag names of the Entymology Collection. There was supposed to be only 20 of this particular bugs and stuff in Plexiglas bag.
