just a guess - Tigrosa annexa... Its about 1.5 inches length (including legs) and was found indoors on a wall in Wisconsin. There was no web nearby.

No, Tigrosa is a Wolf Spider in the Ffamily Lycosidae, and with those long spinnerets it looks more like a Funnel Web Weaver in the family Agelenidae. It is likely one of the Agelenopsis species.
