Found this spider against the foundation of my home. It was on a web and seems it was well strung up with some writing on it too.
Nice photo! The zigzag webs that look like writing are called stabilimentum. Stabilimenta is the singular form. These webs themselves are interesting and appear to serve multiple purposes for the orbweaver spiders.
Also a black and yellow garden spider.
