Some sort of orb spider. Web in garage and was about 3 feet across and attached from rafters to floor. Spider about size of a quarter.

Hi, this might be a Hentz orbweaver, Neoscona crucifera. The colors of the abdomen and cephalothorax vary, so it won’t look like all the other photos you see of the species. The hairy body sets it apart from most American orbweavers. They appear to be a predominant orbweaver species in your state.
