Hi, it looks like a distant Eastern parson spider. In theory, if MERSA bacteria is present on a surface, if that surface punctures your skin you may become innoculated with the bacteria. Your personal immune system and wound care would affect whether it becomes an infection. A spider’s fangs can introduce bacteria into a body with the puncture wound of a bite.
