This spider had six long legs and two short ones in front, i found it at home-which is a cool dry place.

I think this is a harvestman, not a spider. The two body parts in the front aren’t legs. My best guess at a species is Phalangium opilio. Harvestmen and spiders are both arachnids, but very different in body and behavior. It won’t hurt you, enjoy him or her in your home.
