I don't know much about spider species but this really looks like a tarantula. It was only about 2in long, maybe a baby. But tarantulas aren't known to be around here so I'm not sure. It didn't seem to be bothered by my presence. Not sure if it was hurt because it looks like it was dead here. But later on started moving again.
