This looks like the garden spider or “Writing” spider, so called because it put zig-zags of UV reflectant silk in quadrants of its web. the genus would be Argiope, but I do not know what species it is. It could be sp aurantia, but I wouldn’t stake my life on it.
You had it! Argiope aurantia. If it helps… the binomial name has the element symbols for silver and gold, Ar and Au. The name translates roughly to “(gold) gilded silver face.”
