The spider was already deceased. I assumed it was a fishing spider but the cephalothorax and abdomen seem too round.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 You found a Spitting Spider (Scytodes sp.). It doesn’t appear to be dead, they normally look that way.
