Filed to species. What is the water he is on, is it just a puddle?
He and others stayed in my grand daughters old swimming pool, I got them out several times but they climbed back in. It had algae growing in it,he was on it. This is the spider i filmed staying under water for so long. They stayed inside old pool noodles I put in the pool for them to climb on.
Thanks, I wonder if “swimming pool” should be added to the list of places where the spiders are found.
I found a lot of spiders on the outside and inside the pool. All of them none web making except the sheetweb families . All the wolf spider families on my area were in ,on or around the grass sides. Crab spiders and jumping spiders were constant visitors. The little sheetweb family spiders were everywhere in the grass,I didn’t cut the grass close to the side of the pool after I discovered it was a attraction, I placed floating objects in it for them to climb on.
