I'm sure this is a male orb Weaver but not sure if what type. He was hanging off the soffit near my back door light. He was near a female orb Weaver in her big beautiful web.

What a stud! He’s Araneus diadematus. I like your username. They are called cross orbweavers because of the white marking on their abdomen near the cephalothorax. It kind of looks like a painted on cross mark.
