I was guessing this to be a spiny orb-weaver of some sort but I can't find the exact species. This was found in a moist wooded area in Iowa in it's web hanging between two trees. The photo has was taken with the spider in a pill container. The spider's coloring is black and white with brown legs. Anyone have an idea?
