This spider has a large web by our front door. It seems to be out each night. It is biggish... I’d say the body is the size of a large marble

Hi, my best guess is a female Neoscona crucifera, a Hentz orbweaver. The photo is attractive . Aesthetically pleasing photography and biology don’t always go together. I like your photo license terms in your bio. It helps if we can see the dorsal surface of the abdomen to do IDs.
