Is it poisonous? I’ve never seen a silver spider before.

Hi, I think it is a banded orbweaver, Argiope trifasciata. Their colors seem to wear off like paint on an old piece of machinery exposing the metal underneath. These spiders are silver with white, yellow, and black coloring on top of the silver. It has some venom for paralyzing insect prey and for self defense against larger animals that are a risk to it. She will only bite if she thinks she needs to and skin is pressed up against her. The bite, which is rare, is said to bee about the same as a bee sting.
