We believe it is a green lynx spider. I ha e no idea about the sex or age.
I was starting a load of laundry and my 5 yr old made a gasping noise. I looked at where he was pointing and there it was. He had just cleaned out a glass pickle jar to use to watch bugs he caught. He handed it to me and we caught the spider. I looked it up and came across this site. It says they are usually found outside in the month of September. Well it is September, but this guy/gal was inside my washing machine. It was a bit jumpy and a bit aggressive.
