Hi I think this is a false widow I took this picture I WY bathroom fakenham Norfolk UK. What can I do to got rid of then please as in sure where there is one there WILL am more. My wife is quite anxious about them as we have 3 young grandchildren who visit Quito often thank you.

What can I do to irradicate these false widows from my house as WY wife is quite anxious about them KS we have 3 young grandchildren who visit quite often. Coz we are sure that they are false widows.

Hi. your photo is a male Steatoda nobilis, false widow. Normal for them to simply live in your house with you.
They will pose no threat or risk to you, pets, or children. Not like you will be overrun with them.
A myth throughout UK these can have a bad bite, no evidence of that beyond some swelling and little pain.
I have handled a number and just never bitten.
