This big girl is right in the center of Ohio. I would say she is likely a female because she is at least two inches, maybe more. I am not too familiar with the sort of spiders we have in this state but my best guess is a wolf spider because of her size and color. I would like to confirm her species before attempting to relocate her and her egg sac to somewhere safer.
