Hi. No, it might be a parasitic larvae of sort. poor spider doesn’t look too well. This type of thing happens now and then. The spider looks to be Badumna species, Their eggs are larger silken orbs they hide in webbed crevices and holes.

Badumna species are not found in the UK, this is Segestria florentina, tube web spider 🙂

the pale patch is the book lung, they have one opening on either side of that part of their body.
