Is this a cat faced spider? It was hanging in my doorway on front porch, middle of night.

Hi, the markings and slight shoulder projections look like a cat-faced spider, but the hairy abdomen and smooth reddish brown femurs suggest a Hentz orbweaver, Neoscona crucifera. They’re nocturnal and the like squared building frames like doors and windows for web support. You’re more likely to have spiders on a porch if you leave a light on at night. The light attracts nocturnal insects and the insects attract spiders.
