In colour it looks a little like Araneus bicentenarius. This specimen has been on the wall of my front porch, not in a web. It's 3-4mm wide from side to side, so it's not very big. I'm guessing this is a juvenile of a larger species rather than an adult of a tiny one, but that is just a guess.

I think this may be a Eustala sp. Maybe Eustala rosae?
