Irregular orb; very shy

This spider is very shy. Also very busy–built an immense orb in about 4 hours. Unfortunately was across front door & disappeared after 3rd or 4th attempt at web. I have found a couple of possibilities: Neoscona cruciferous “Hentz Orb weaver” & Araneus diadematus “Cross Orb Weaver”. Not certain about either.
Hi, yes she was an orbweaver. It looks like she caught lots of insects. Thank you for trying to ID her, it takes practice, I’m still trying to figure out the orbweavers. Yours looks like Neoscona domiciliorum. They have bright red upper legs as their main distinguishing characteristic. The species name refers to their preference for building webs on human domiciles, like yours.
