Hi, your little friend is far from mean, This looks to be a cross orb weaver, Araeus diadematus speies.
Not dangerous at all.
These more come out at dusk, Make one of hose fancy webs to cach bugs all night. Come dawn, they may consume their web before hiding out nearby for the day. If she is out of the way, I would leave her undisturbed.
Orb weavers are master architects when it come to making webs, Watching them is better than TV. https://spiderid.com/spider/araneidae/araneus/diadematus/
I was trying to find a similar image on the web of this spider and looks like another image was uploaded from my city about 1 hour before I uploaded mine to this site. From what I see doing a search your probably right being orb weaver. I have never actually seen one close up and damm so many species.
Sorry should be Found in web? Yes
