Some kind of Dark Phishing spider
I think Fishing Spiders are striped all over, aren’t they? I was told that I may have a Hobo spider infestation
Hi. Don’t worry about hobo spiders, you are not in their range, and they have been reclassified as harmless anyway. I live with those now, very similar looking to your spider.

More docile than your spiders, easier to catch by hand. You can have a number about,but they don’t infest anything, they kill each other if their paths cross,like most funnel weavers.
It has stripes if you look closely. This exact one was sitting on my leg yesterday.
May not have made any moves to startle or threaten it, they crawl, they are oblivious to human presence and may freely crawl on you. Freaks a lot of people out not used to that. Quick enough hands, coral them, they settle and crawl on hands. No, they don’t bite unless say trapped between fingers, and that is insignificant. Hi. your little friend here is a funnel weaver, a female domestic house spider, Tegenaria domestica species.
Official common name is barn funnel weaver.
These spiders are about as harmless as spiders come, their worst is a startle darting across the bathroom floor or messy web out in the open. Free pest exterminators if you can tolerate their presence. I grew up with them,played with them and kept for pets.
