I was at a bank and standing in line waiting. I looked down and this fella was on my pants leg. No idea when or how he got there. I took him outside, took his photo, then released him into the bushes. I am pretty sure he is some sort of wolf spider but that is all I am sure of.

Hello again. 🙂 This nice find is actually a kind of Jumping Spider (Salticidae). Appears to be Phidippus otiosis. For comparison: https://bugguide.net/node/view/1015285/bgimage
Neat. Cool he didn’t really move like the jumping spiders I’ve seen so I thought he might be a wolf (some people around here say they are one and the same, I probably mixed them up in my head)
A lot of people think any fuzzy spider is a Wolf Spider. Spiders in the family Lycosidae are called Wolf Spiders, and those in Salticidae are Jumping Spiders. They both come in fuzzy and non-fuzzy varieties.
