I stand corrected. My friend claims it was, in fact outside and in its web. My apology. I think in the photo I attached, it actually is “pretty”.
Hi. This looks like one of your huntsman spiders, not dangerous at all.
Looks male. The only time these make webs is like sleeping bags they molt in or in cold winter climate, they overwinter in. That size would likely be Heteropoda genus.
