About twice as large as a quarter with legs extended. Looks a lot like the Fennel-web spider that is native to Australia, but has hair covering the entire body. Could not locate any pictures online that looked exactly like this. We found 5 others in our backyard the same night. All ground dwellers.

Lots of them in Locust Grove, Oklahoma as well.

Hi. These are wolf spiders, Lycosidae family. Can’t dee detail to peg species, they can get a fair size.
I have the big ones, counted 9 one nigh with a flashlight, their eyes glow like cat eyes.
They are not dangerous, your yard is a great place for them.
