Comments & ID Thoughts
Mostly black, haphazard web, white egg sack behind. Spider has whitish/silver line on belly. Live in Renton, WA. Located in outside shed. Possibly a widow of some sort? Appeared to have a brown smaller version living in same web.

Hi, welcome to Spider ID. 🙂 Tentatively it looks like you have a False Widow (Steatoda sp.). I’d need a dorsal image of the spider to be more specific. Widows (Latrodectus spp.) typically present with more robust legs and some red or orange underneath … but not always, just most of the time.
