I'm guessing Funnel Grass or Wolf spider!? These seem to be everywhere in our basement. She has babies on her back, b/c they ran off when I attempted to relocate her outside.

It’s a Wolf Spider in the family Lycosidae and looks a bit like one of the Hogna species. The Grass Spiders of the family Agelenidae do not carry their young around. Your image is interesting as it captures the light reflecting from the eyes of the mother as well as some of the young on her back.

Hi. You do have to be gentle around these mama wolf spiders, if they spook or threatened, the babies will scatter. Usually, give mama a minute to settle, the babies remount. Where you can use the cup and paper trick, slowly over mama, gently slide paper under cup and spider. Slowly turn the works over. Done right, no scattering and the spiders can’t crawl out of those plastic deli cups. Take outside into the yard, slowly turn cup on side, and mama with brood will go on her way.
