Comments & ID Thoughts
I would like to know if this spider is dangerous to people. I have 8 pictures, but seem to be able to upload only one at a time. First six pictures taken 9/25/18, last two taken 9/26/18. These pictures were taken in Madison, Alabama, which is North Central Alabama.

How can I submit more pictures? This spider has yellow spots on its back and yellow bands on its sides. It also has a yellow stripe head to rear on its belly. Its legs are brown near its body and black away from the body. It has about a two foot diameter web and seemed to stay put for two days (so far) even with rain.
No it’s not dangerous or aggressive. It is Argiope aurantia, the Black & yellow Orb Weaver in the family Araneidae.
Thank you for the quick reply. I tried to submit more pictures but keep getting rejected with a red banner that indicates, “Validation failed. Spam Detected.” It does resemble the Argiope aurantia picture on Wikipedia.
