Comments & ID Thoughts
Located in Regina Sask Canada. May not be local as we bring up items from Indiana. Its body is pinky size, legs would span almost 2" Side to side I'd stretched. Stripes are sideways, can't find anything similar online. Also it's a regular web, not tunnel. Thanks in advance!

Hi, this is a silver banded garden spider, Neoscona trifasciata, It is an orb weaver type of spider. The individuals vary in their color pattern, yours is more yellow-orange than most. They can almost always be found hanging with their head pointed down so they can see predators and prey below them, and probably because the web comes out of their back end, and physics has its way with them.
