Hi, this is an orbweaver type of spider. There isn’t enough photo detail to ID the species. They are primarily predators of flying insects and are great for a garden. They won’t hurt you if you don’t touch them. Body size isn’t relative to venom potency. The female orbweavers grow larger developmentally longer than males. The females build the big webs, catch more prey, and their abdomens stratch as their egg mass develops.
