Found in a web this morning on my deck, couldn't get a good close picture without the flash interfering. It's a beautiful brilliant yellow, I assume some kind of orb weaver maybe?

Hi, yes she looks like one of the color forms of a marbled orbweaver, Araneus marmorous. I understand about the trouble with taking photos of nocturnal animals without flash problems. I recently starting wearing a LED work light around my neck when I hunt spiders so I have more control over the lighting besides the flash. Normally I switch my phone between flashlight and camera apps as I hunt.
