Found on our shed out next to our pasture, I believe it’s a New Mexico Garden spider, same undercarriage design and the top of the back has the same marks and colors along with the legs of the pictures of them I’ve seen

Hi, this is probably the ventral view of Argiope trifasciata. The American Arachnological Society accepted “banded garden spider “ as the common name for this species. That won’t stop the public from calling it whatever they want. I haven’t heard “New Mexico garden spider” used before. You can call it the Nebraska garden spider in the privacy of your own home. 😉
