They are web dwellers although adult males may go on the lam for mates. They are established in California and Texas, and their range is obviously expanding. Actually, this is the first I have heard of them in Idaho. May have to wait for the latest edition of the world spider catalog to confirm their present range. People move into eastern Idaho from Ca, and easy to bring hitchhikers via eggs, IE: hobo spiders are now state wide,1 decade back, they were not found here.
