Hi. One of the very harmless orb weavers, while they are capable of biting, they don’t. Their venom is so mild, it would have little or no effect on humans or pets. 55 years with spiders, only know one person ever bitten by any orb weaver, a spotted orb weaver trapped under a shirt collar, A bite to the neck, just a mild sting and lingering irritation a couple hours was the result.
