Hi. Long bodied cellar spider, Pholcus phalangioides species. AKA daddy long leg spider. totally harmless.

Hi. I think you are confusing this with the harvestman. these cellar spiders are true spiders and are web dwellers, Opiliones produce no web, and legs can be proportionately longer. The confusion is the moniker daddy long legs, with ‘spider’ inclusive,this insinuates the true spider rather than the harvestman. These spiders are still totally harmless, worth having about, they will eat any other arthropod they can trap in their web, even spiders like black widow.
