This critter made its way into our kitchen. It moved very quickly. I’ve NEVER seen a spider this big in any house in Ireland!! The floor boards are approximately 7.5 inches or 9cm. Any suggestions?
Probably not much of help by now but take a big plastic box and quickly place it over the spider without hurting its legs. Then take a large piece of paper and slide it between the floor and the box, so you can lift the box with the spider in it, and the paper serving as a floor for the spider. Now release. This spider is a grown agelenopsis kastoni i think. Nothing to be concerned of.
