I thought this may be a spotted orb weaver, but we never found a web anywhere around our property. We have not seen another like it in this area for past 10 years. Some are saying it’s a wolf spider, but the slight red markings on the legs make us think otherwise. He or she was on the doorway to the upstairs master bathroom. Spotted back with markings of a “bear face”, dark brown and black with some red, hairy little guy with intermittent black/brown spots on the legs can best describe this spider. Thank you for any help in identifying him.
