Usually expect to find widows but this was different.
Hi. this is a black widow, just sub adult and hasn’t molted to adult colors yet.
Looks a bit like my Wanda when she was juvenile, a western black widow, bu you are in range of southern black widow also. The geometry of her hourglass pattern, I could be more certain witch.
