could be some sort of orb weaver? just has a round back and about the size of my thumb. was hanging on its web and as soon as i walked by it ran up under the branch.

Hi, yes she’s an orbweaver. Unfortunately I can’t tell which one she is from the photo angle. The insect infested tree or shrub she’s on appears to really need her.
