There is a fun-house face on the body
Hi, she might be Araneus trifolium, a shamrock orbweaver. I know what you mean by “a fun-house face.” A. trifolum has markings on the abdomen of two big white spots with little cartoon pupils in cartoon eyes.
Or Araneus illaudatus. It also has what looks like a cartoonish face on the abdomen.
