Comments & ID Thoughts

Body was approximately 2 inches long, dark in color; Looks like (based on short skim of this sight) to belong to the Hogna (sp?) Family; Found in the very bottom shelf of some shelving in the outdoors carport; I'm no archnaphobe but this is the biggest MFing spider I've ever seen outside a zoo so feedback is welcome, haha.

That’s called a big fat nope!

This looks like a fishing spider in the genus Dolomedes. I think it’s a dark fishing spider, D. tenebrosus.
