Body was approximately 2 inches long, dark in color; Looks like (based on short skim of this sight) to belong to the Hogna (sp?) Family; Found in the very bottom shelf of some shelving in the outdoors carport; I'm no archnaphobe but this is the biggest MFing spider I've ever seen outside a zoo so feedback is welcome, haha.

I knew it was one of those from the get-go! Haha
edit: seriously though it was damn near the size of my hand!
This looks like a fishing spider in the genus Dolomedes. I think it’s a dark fishing spider, D. tenebrosus.
That’s looking almost spot on! Slightly different markings (to my untrained eyes lol) but I don’t know enough as to how much these markings even vary to contest that. Good eye dude, appreciate ya!
