NOT A RECLUSE.
Sorry but this looks NOTHING like a recluse, try the site called ‘Spiderbytes Recluse or not’ for help, and read Rick Vetter’s articles, he’s regarded as one of the world’s experts on the brown recluse spider (and the misidentifcation of them).
Utah is reportedly on the very egde of the range of Loxosceles reclusa (their range is logged by recorded/documented finds by experts).
It’s unlikely you will find any there except for isolated colonies brought there through human transportation/shipping.

This pic is Grass spider species from the funnel weaver family (Agelenidae). Harmless.

I knew there were at least some isolated recluse cases in Utah, as my uncle was bitten by one. Great ID, sir!

Everyone has claims to have know someone way out of range that was bitten and had some ugly sore, but years of research from experts like Rick Vetter shows they’re the most misidentified spider in the US and misdiagnosed cause of supposed “bites”.
